ser aburrido
es aburrido.

I'm trying to say: to be bored is boring. did I get this right?

In my dictionary the word for bored is the same as boring.

I would say: estar aburrido es aburrido.

If you say it with the verb 'ser' it means that someone is boring person, not that he´s bored.

    'eres aburrido' = you´re boring
    'estás aburrido' = you´re bored
